I would like to sell it as scrap gold

Lately I just came across a lot of savings from my grandmother. I cannot believe it that she hid it underneath the floor. We just came across it while we were making a total renovation of our house. It is just the matter of luck that it was not the company we hired, they were often left home alone with the work and we were absent. If somebody of them found it we would never ever get to know that grandma has left so much treasures for us hidden in the house. What surprised me the most were all those wonderfully looking earrings and bracelets of pure gold. I wonder how much would I get for it if I wanted to sell it as scrap gold. Has anyone of you ever sold anything as scrap gold? If yes - please tell me how much can I get for several items weighing between a hundred and two hundred grams? I know this is not going to be a fortune, but at least a part of our home budget is going to be repaired a bit. Oh god, I have never thought that something like that ever happens to me. Poor grandma, she must have forgotten to tell us about that. It is a bit confusing for me to sell all those memories and stuff as scrap gold but we have no other way out - we need cash. We cant afford just keeping so much money frozen in a closet or anywhere else. That is a hard situation for my feelings.
